ARGH!!! WHY CAN'T I FIND A NEW JOB TILL NOW?
I'm just getting more and more frustrated with my current job. Yes, i've been with this company for slightly more than 2yrs already. But the management is getting from bad to worse. 2 of my favourite mgrs have either been transferred to another outlet or resigned and found a better job. The mgrs I have now are simply LAZY and WEAK!!
1. LAZY - because they SEEM to have many things to do and have to get us, the senior staff, to "clean up their/other pple's mess"!
For instance, i was asked to follow up a colleague's rather-troublesome rejected case because he is on leave. I was having my off days/leave too as well lor.. But i do read my emails at home, at times lah. And this so lazy mgr of mine actually emailed me to follow up my colleague's case. I was thinking "Hello, can't you check the goddamn schedule that i'm having 2 days OFF?!"
I replied her in private, saying "I'm off for 2 days, can you get someone who is working for these 2 days to follow up ma?" Guess wad! She forwarded the case to my closest friend at work who is having the same OFF days as me. I was msn-ing my friend when she received the email and told me about it. So of cuz, she replied my mgr saying the exact same thing as me too.
Oh great, our mgr actually replied saying "Ok, shall wait for both of you to come back to work and follow up the case then." WTF!!! Can't she ask other colleagues who are just as senior as us to assist?! I was damn fed up because if my previous 2 mgrs were around, they will definitely assist to follow up or get the case owner to follow up themselves when they return to work.. Just because we are on quite good terms with THAT colleague, doesn't mean she can just push the case to us lor. Moreover, this is NOT the first time she has pushed other pple's cases to either of us. Apparently, there were many other options but she just don't see them!

We may be friends with her after work, but please, draw a line between friends and colleagues ok. She always has the perception that we are quite "sister" with her, so we should help her to do certain things. I'm given neither a pay rise nor promotion, and you are the MGR, so just farking do what you are paid to do! I have displayed my displeasure with her a few times already but she pretended like nothing and had the cheek to ask me: "eh... why you so bad mood? who made you angry?" *faints*
2. WEAK - just because a customer disputes till they are making a scene, my mgr who appears to be not on the winning side or simply, not firm enough, decides to give in to the super fark up customer and give a GOODWILL or EXCEPTIONAL APPROVAL. *so exasperated* It gets so annoying especially when i did my best to stand firm against customer, letting them know we are not a charity organisation, BUT my mgr just fails to be firm and stand on my side.
How can i still continue in this job when i have such mgrs who do not deserve my respect and that i have already deemed them as incompetent. And that my faith in the company's products is diminishing to absolute ZERO..
I have started to hunt for jobs since mid March, but to no avail. I'm actually looking for shorter working hours (office hours) but still related to customer service/pple interaction job like Recruitment or HR. Well, i will not rule out other fields of job (which has career advancement and reasonably gd pay/location).
Why is it so hard to find a job now....
